Funding and collegial management of research

Adherent members, active members and partner members contribute annually to the financing of SCORE LCA. ADEME, as an ex officio member, actively participates in the study steering committees and also uses SCORE LCA deliverables to flesh out the requirements of its specifications.

The choice of research topics, their allocation and the monitoring of work are carried out collectively by SCORE LCA members. They are assisted in these tasks by a scientific board.

Scientific Director of SCORE LCA since its creation in 2012, in conjunction with RECORD. Over 20 years' experience in applying LCA according to the ISO 14040 series. Participation in research projects for the European Commission and the ANR. Member of SETAC and AFNOR Commission X30U. French representative on ISO/TC 207 (LCA and GHG). Member of the Technical Advisory Board (TAB) of PEF (Product Environmental Footprint). PEP Association at ECO Platform. Leading ISO/TC 308 work on Mass Balance and Book&Claim (Guarantees of Origin), participating in ISO 14077 work at SC5 of ISO/TC 207. President of Solinnen and co-author of the book ‘L'Analyse du Cycle de Vie d'un produit ou d'un service’ (Life Cycle Assessment of a Product or Service).
